Are You Tired of Feeling Sick?


Sniffle, Sniffle….  Cough, Cough…

What are you feeling right now?  Come on and tell the truth, it’s just you and the computer screen.  Do you feel a cold coming on?  Scratchy throat, watery eyes, or maybe its a sniffle or two?   For ages have you explained away the reasons why you caught the cold?  Do any of the following reasons for why you have or feel a cold or flu coming on sound familiar?

  1. Someone in my office was sick 
  2. I sat next to someone that was sick
  3. The temperature changed outside made me sick
  4. My children were sick, so I caught this “bug” from them
Sound familiar?????   What if you could experience any of the above situations, but NOT CATCH A COLD OR THE FLU, would you be interested?  What if you experienced any one of the previously mentioned situations and maybe caught a cold or the flu, but your symptoms were not as severe and didn’t last as long.  Would you like to know how? 

First let’s look at one of the probable causes. 

 


Your Body pH – Acid vs. Alkaline

 

According to countless researchers and scientists, one of the hidden secrets of weight loss and staying disease free is the pH balance of the blood.  If you or someone you know is battling a disease, chronic illness, or would just like to feel better, an incredible amount of research shows the body’s pH is connected to how we feel and our weight. 

 


Just What Is It? 

 

The pH stands for the power or potential of Hydrogen.  Which is equal to the unit that indicates the hydrogen density of acid and alkaline water.  Basically, the more hydrogen ions (H+), the more acidic the water or our blood becomes.  The more hydroxyl ions (-OH), the more alkaline the water or our blood becomes.  The pH is measured on a scale from 1 (being the very acidic) to 13 (being very alkaline). 

You see, for optimal and peak function the pH of the blood in the human body should fall within 7.3 – 7.45.  A pH of 7 is neutral and anything above 7 is alkaline.  We don’t want to become too alkaline because that is not healthy either.  The problem is that most of our bodies are too acidic.  When the body is too acidic, health problems occur.  Some are as simple as us feeling a “little under the weather”, tired, mild aches or pains, or a pesky cold or flu.  There is even a direct correlation between being overweight and a constantly acidic pH balance.  More serious problems when the body’s pH is acidic or has gone for to long in an acidic state can be more complex such as cancer, chronic yeast infections, Alzheimer’s, arthritis, diabetes, sleep apnea, acne, cholesterol, IBS, or high blood pressure. 

Your Disease Took Time To Develop

If you reflect back, these aliments did not just “pop up” overnight.  The more serious aliments took time to develop to become the more serious threat that they are.  For example, the Grand Canyon didn’t form overnight.  The Grand Canyon took five to six million years to develop and become what it is today.  It was created mainly by one simple thing/concept – water constantly eroding the rock away.  Something as simple as water over the course of time has created a massive landmark that stretches for 227 miles long, 18 miles wide at it's widest point is 1 mile deep.  Our point is that although a daily diet of acid forming food will not take six million years to effect the body, it is proof that anything if given time can become a serious threat and “erode” your health and quality of life away.

 

 


Drink 3 – 4 Cups of Tea per Day to Restore Your pH Balance to Alkaline

It is very simple.  Tea’s pH is alkaline; therefore drinking a healthy amount of three to four cups per day will move your body’s pH balance to a more alkaline state.
